Press Releases Charity giant paella CookUp in Ewell Village A giant paella will be cooked up by new
restaurant – AROMA d'Espana – in aid of charity. Partakers are invited to donate
to the Epsom Medical Equipment Fund or Help for Heroes. AROMA d'Espana opens its doors for the first time A new Tapas bar and restaurant – AROMA d'Espana – was opened by local entrepreneurs, Clive Lane and John Kerwood, on June 12th [2009]. The pair are behind Ewell's highly successful gastro pub – the Famous Green Man. Lane and Kerwood spotted a gap in
the market for a venue where friends, family, lovers and others could meet in a
relaxed and friendly atmosphere. "The obvious choice for the restaurant was
authentic Spanish cuisine," said co-proprietor, Clive Lane. "The Brit's
legendary love of Spain means there's a clear demand for dishes such as tapas
and paella and typical Spanish drinks like Sangria, Cava, cocktails or Sherry." |
